House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday endorsed a movement announced by other congressional Democrats on Wednesday to ratify an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow Congress to regulate political speech when it is engaged in by corporations as opposed to individuals.

The First Amendment says in part: “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press…”

Television networks, newspapers, publishing houses, movie studios and think tanks, as well as political action committees, are usually organized as, or elements of, corporations.

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) — Simply talking in the hall can land students at one school in detention. The principal says it’s a move to keep kids out of trouble, but one parent says it’s not working.

Many of us remember the olden days at school — the bell rings, a mob hits the halls, and then there was five minutes to see friends, get gossip, and get to your next class. At T.T. Knight Middle School, those days are gone.

“I think it’s unfair,” says student D.J. Herm.

Silence is the rule there, because, as Principal Faith Stroud puts it, “I am a principal that uses data.” She installed hallway cameras in October and found that sometimes bullying and fights start there between classes.

That didn’t take long – mere minutes after news of Andrew Breitbart’s death spread across the internet, Twitter and social media became infected with hatred. Lefty bloggers and others celebrated the demise of Breitbart declaring the ‘world outlook’ better with him gone, name calling and much much worse. Simply go on Twitter and search #Breitbart and you can’t miss the hate.

The ‘Fairness’ Fraud – Page 1

During a recent Fox News Channel debate about the Obama administration’s tax policies, Democrat Bob Beckel raised the issue of “fairness.”

He pointed out that a child born to a poor woman in the Bronx enters the world with far worse prospects than a child born to an affluent couple in Connecticut.

No one can deny that. The relevant question, however, is: How does allowing politicians to take more money in taxes from successful people, to squander in ways that will improve their own reelection prospects, make anything more “fair” for others?

Hollywood Urges Obama to Pardon Killer

On top of the campaign to pressure New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to release terrorist killer Judith Clark from prison, the far-left is asking President Obama to grant clemency to Leonard Peltier, an American Indian activist who was convicted of the execution-style murders of FBI Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams.
