culture war or I missed typo and should look l...

“The Bible is being called hate literature. Clearly, the Church is in the crosshairs. There will be growing pressure for the Church to comply or to be shut down.” – Archbishop Terrence Prendergast, Canada

Imagine this: “You are summoned to a tribunal where you cannot have a defense lawyer and you cannot record the proceedings nor have a witness present. The people judging and prosecuting you have no legal qualifications. The accusation is ambiguous, having to do with ideas the state does not like. The penalties could include fines equal to several thousands of dollars, public recanting, and rehabilitation classes.”

Obama’s Values Spark Return of Culture Wars

In 2007, while still a member of the U.S. Senate, Barack Obama said, “I am absolutely convinced that culture warsare just so ‘90s. Their days are growing dark.”

Until recently, I’ve been inclined to agree with Mr. Obama. The culture wars are over. We lost.

We’re no longer fighting to uphold traditional social values. Now we’re fighti

But it turns out the president himself has reignited the culture wars he so smugly declared were passe.

When, two weeks ago, he arrogantly announced the Health and Human Services directive requiring all employers (or their insurers) to provide free contraception, sterilization and abortifacient drugs as mandatory provisions of health care coverage, Mr. Obama must have quite naturally assumed his edict would go unchallenged.  read more

Infanticide now legal in Canada.

Now Normalizing Infanticide?? This one is weep worthy.  A  Canadian judge has ruled in favor of the mother who strangled her newborn infant.  Here is the ghastly story by Patrick Craine  – Katrina Effert covers herself with a jacket as she leaves the Edmonton courthouse on Friday. EDMONTON, Alberta, September 12, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – An Alberta judge has let a woman who strangled her newborn son walk free by arguing that Canada’s absence of a law on abortion signals that … Read More

This is demeaning to women but comes as no surprise from this pathetic man. When you can’t argue the facts, guess making a “cartoon” about a conservative woman candidate and her chest size is about all you got.

Despicable and degrading Via Newsbusters: So what are the qualifications of a woman to become President of the US?  According to liberal cartoonist Gary Trudeau, the ability to "fill out a tight sweater" is among them.  Well, actually, only if you are a conservative woman candidate. Witness his hilarious Doonesbury cartoon above. Wonder if NOW will have a comment? Not holding my breath… This is demeaning to women but comes as no surprise from this pathetic man.  When y … Read More
