For a number of years, it has been known that the guy called President Obama has little to no known qualifications with the exception of being a street hustler and community organizer. Frankly, the man is not qualified to be a Cub Scout leader and would have difficulty running a lemon aid stand even if he could make proper change.
COLLEGE PARK, Md., Feb. 28 (UPI) — When Barack Obama assumed the U.S. presidency, gas prices were less than $2 a gallon. He proceeded to shut down deep-water drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, tightened federal restrictions on petroleum development and vetoed the Keystone XL Pipeline. Now, even with Americans driving not a lot more than three years ago and global growth slowing, gas is nearing $4 a gallon.
The liberal theocracy in academia, the media and the Democratic Party leadership relentlessly expound that drilling for oil in the United States won’t much affect U.S. gas prices because petroleum prices are set in global markets. And, more domestic oil production or U.S. access to Canadian petroleum won’t much change global supplies, or the pace of economic recovery and unemployment.

A large owl from the eastern United States may pay for its intrusion into the West Coast if the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has its way.
The service is considering an experiment in which it would kill or transfer some barred owls – sometimes referred to as the hoot owl, thanks to its call – as part of a plan to preserve the smaller northern spotted owl, the agency said in a report this week.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Businesses in Northeast and Southeast Portland were damaged overnight and the vandals explained their actions in e-mails, police said.
The vandalism comes ahead of a planned Occupy Portland march and rally in Portland on Wednesday afternoon as part of the Shut Down the Corporations Day of Action. The event is also known as the F29 march and organizers said they will be focusing on corporations that are part of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

The White House fairy tale about the Happily Ever After Auto Bailout is missing a crucial, bloody page. While President Obama bragged about “standing by American workers” at a rowdy United Auto Workers meeting Tuesday, he failed to acknowledge how the Chicago-style deal threw tens of thousands of nonunion autoworkers under the bus.
In a campaign pep rally/sermon billed as a “policy speech,” Obama nearly broke his arm patting himself on the back for placing his “bets” (read: our money) on the $85 billion federal auto industry rescue. “Three years later,” he crowed, “that bet is paying off for America.” Big Labor brass cheered Obama’s citation of GM’s “highest profits in its 100-year history” as the room filled with militant UAW chants of “union made.”
