In a drive to discourage unhealthy dietary choices, San Francisco today banned “Happy Meals” at McDonald’s restaurants. Instead, all fast-food outlets will now be required to serve “Sad Meals” as a way to make tasty food unappealing to kids.

We the people are sick and tired of government intrusion into our lives. The government is too busy trying to convince us, they know what is best for us. In the process, they have forgot the very essence of their existence! Rather than building and strengthening our great nation, they have chose to weaken and bankrupt it! The Founding Fathers never envisioned our government as it presently exists.

In August, 403 mass layoff events were reported in the
manufacturing sector, resulting in 46,540 initial claims.
Employers took 1,546 mass layoff actions involving 150,192
workers. Events decreased by 63 over the month, while associated
initial claims increased by 6,489.
